Member of Technical Staff (MTS)

Singapore Amaravati On-site Full-time

About the Role

We're looking for senior individual contributors to join our platform organization. You'll own and deliver complex, multi-month technical initiatives, make architectural decisions that shape how we build and scale our systems, and serve as a force multiplier for every team that depends on the platform. This is a high-ownership, high-impact IC role for engineers who want to do the most technically meaningful work of their careers.

What You'll Do

  • Independently scope and drive delivery of complex, cross-cutting technical projects
  • Make architectural decisions that define how our platform is built and operated at scale
  • Build foundational infrastructure primitives — CI/CD, observability, service mesh, secrets management — that accelerate every engineering team
  • Navigate ambiguous problem spaces and bring clarity to technical direction without waiting for top-down alignment
  • Partner directly with product and research to translate cutting-edge capabilities into reliable, production-grade systems
  • Set engineering standards, define component architectures, and establish development best practices
  • Invest in the growth of peers through mentorship, technical review, and knowledge transfer

Requirements

  • 8+ years of practical engineering experience, with at least 2 years operating at a staff-equivalent or senior technical leadership level
  • Demonstrated track record of leading design and delivery of complex, production-grade systems end-to-end
  • Deep technical fluency in modern backend engineering, distributed systems, and infrastructure
  • Ability to drive cross-team alignment and ship work through influence, not authority
  • Experience in fast-moving environments where you have built systems from early stage to production scale
  • Strong communication skills — you write clearly, give direct feedback, and can make a technical argument to a non-technical audience
  • A product-minded approach: you think about what you're building, not just how

Nice to Have

  • Experience as a technical lead or architect for a foundational platform system, owning vision and execution end-to-end
  • Deep familiarity with containerization, sandboxing, or secure execution environments
  • Experience building identity and access management systems — authentication, authorization, RBAC, SSO — at enterprise scale
  • Exposure to ML/AI systems, model inference infrastructure, or the platform work that supports them
  • Multi-cloud or cross-region architecture experience
  • API design experience with a focus on developer experience, consistency, and long-term reliability

Platform Engineer

Singapore Amaravati On-site Full-time

About the Role

We're looking for a Platform Engineer to own the infrastructure that every other team depends on to ship. You'll build and operate the systems that provide reliability, developer velocity, and operational leverage at scale — from bare-metal Kubernetes clusters and deployment pipelines to observability, secrets management, and service mesh. This is not a ticket-execution role. You'll make real architectural decisions, improve the platform as a product, and be directly responsible for the uptime and performance of production systems.

What You'll Do

  • Design, operate, and continuously improve Kubernetes clusters running production workloads — including bare metal and hybrid environments
  • Build CI/CD pipelines that treat developer experience as a first-class concern, reducing the time from commit to confident production deploy
  • Own the observability stack end-to-end: instrumentation, metrics pipelines, distributed tracing, structured logging, and alerting that surfaces signal rather than noise
  • Manage infrastructure as code across the full stack — provisioning, configuration, secrets, and policy — with auditability and repeatability as the baseline
  • Define and operate against SLOs and error budgets; build the tooling that makes reliability a measurable, improvable property of the system
  • Lead incident response, drive blameless post-mortems, and close the loop with durable fixes rather than workarounds
  • Build internal developer platforms that reduce cognitive overhead for product engineers and let them ship without becoming infrastructure experts
  • Work across network architecture, storage systems, and service communication to remove bottlenecks before they become incidents

Requirements

  • 4+ years of platform engineering, SRE, or infrastructure engineering experience in a production environment
  • Deep, hands-on Kubernetes experience — not just running workloads, but operating the control plane, debugging scheduling, and tuning for reliability and performance
  • Strong programming ability in Go, Python, or Rust; you write the tooling, not just the YAML
  • Fluency with infrastructure as code — Terraform, Pulumi, or equivalent — including state management, module design, and change safety practices
  • Solid understanding of Linux internals, networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, BGP at a working level), and distributed systems failure modes
  • Experience building and owning observability infrastructure using open-source tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Loki, Tempo or equivalent)
  • Comfort with on-call responsibility and a track record of improving system reliability over time, not just responding to pages

Nice to Have

  • Experience operating bare-metal infrastructure or colocation environments, not just cloud-managed services
  • Familiarity with service mesh (Cilium, Istio, or Linkerd) and the tradeoffs of each in production
  • GitOps experience with ArgoCD or Flux in multi-cluster environments
  • Background in platform security — secrets management at scale, workload identity, policy enforcement with OPA or similar
  • Contributions to CNCF projects or infrastructure open-source work
  • Experience supporting ML workloads, GPU scheduling, or high-throughput data pipelines
